At Bearsted Primary Academy, we proudly offer wrap-around care daily for parents and carers. Our Breakfast and After School Clubs offer parents and carers, during term time, before and after school childcare in a positive, happy and exciting environment. Online booking is required on a term by term basis.
About our Breakfast and After School Clubs
Our Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am until 8:30am. The cost of our Breakfast Club is £3.50 per session. The cost includes cereal, toast or crumpets and squash. Breakfast Club is run by the staff at Bearsted Primary Academy who oversee the children.
Booking is required in advance, and there is a limit of 46 spaces per session. Places will be booked on a first come first served basis. After this limit has been reached, your child can be added to the waiting list.
Our After School Club runs from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
At 4:30pm children within the After School Club will be given a light tea provided by staff. The After School Club is run by the staff at Bearsted who organise and arrange activities which the children can participate in. After School Club is charged at £10.50 per session.
Drop off at Breakfast Club
In the morning when dropping your child off at Breakfast Club we ask that when you arrive you press the doorbell located next to the intercom to alert a member of the Breakfast Club staff who will come to collect your child.
Pick up from After School Club
When collecting your child from the After School Club session please press the doorbell located next to the intercom.
If you will be late picking up your child please call the Wrap Around Care team on 07933 174468.
Booking and Payment
To book onto our wrap around care provision, please email info@bearstedprimaryacademy.org.uk.
All bookings are available through MCAS. Please pay for your bookings using the Online payment widget in MCAS. Please contact the academy office if you require proof of booking and payment. All childcare or Government vouchers are accepted, please select Bearsted Primary Academy as the recipient of your child’s vouchers. Our Wrap Around Care is limited to 46 children/ session.
School Closure
If for any reason at all the school must close we will ensure that we contact you as soon as we can. You can also refer to our website or local radio.
Child’s Illness
If your child is ill and unable to attend school and their wrap around care sessions please call reception on 01622 250040. Please note that if your child is unable to attend the After School or Breakfast session there will be no refund for pre-booked sessions. However pre-booked sessions that may have been cancelled can be moved over to the following term in exceptional circumstances and only at the Principal’s discretion. Late Collection
Please notify the After School Club on 07933 174468 if you are unable to pick up your child on time. We appreciate that there will be the occasional unavoidable emergency however should this begin to happen more frequently you will be charged. Late pick up after 6pm will be charged at £5 for the first 10 minutes then £5 for every 5 minutes after that.
