Here you can see what our Nursery children, joining us in January 2021, have been getting up to during lockdown

On the 14th of November Tanaya, who will be joining us at Little Bears in January, celebrated Diwali- the Hindu festival also known as the Festival of Lights. Diwali is the beginning of the Hindu New Year and also marks the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. To celebrate Diwali Tanaya and her family illuminated their home with lots of oil lamps called diyas as well as colourful lights. They also enjoyed fireworks and lots of sweets too which is the best part of the celebrations for Tanaya. Now that the Diwali celebrations are over, Tanaya is looking forward to Christmas and starting nursery in the New Year.

Tanaya’s adventures during lockdown

During lockdown, Tanaya has been busy drawing, learning her colours, helping Daddy with DIY, playing cricket and lots more. She also became a big sister to Baby Ranaweera and she is smitten by her baby brother. She has been taking her big sister duties very seriously. Well done Tanaya- being a big sister is a very important job!

She cannot wait to start at Little Bears Nursery in January and asks everyday when can she start. She is really looking forward to starting Nursery and we cannot wait to meet her.
